Richard Jones

Richard was bass player and founder member of the Climax Blues Band.
After graduating from Cambridgge University, he joined Principal Edward's Magic Theatre in January 1972.
Richard later rejoined Climax Blues Band on keyboards, and toured extensively, mainly in the USA.
The band enjoyed worldwide success with the single Couldn't Get It Right.
He now plays accordion with ANGLES and Climax Ceilidh Band.
Richard retired as a Principal Lecturer in Databases and Information Systems at the University of Greenwich in 2011, and is a private computer consultant.
